We are looking for a fast learner to be our Accounts Payable Specialist/Accountant.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with knowledge of Excel
• Accounting Software experience, preference with Sage 100 or equivalent software
• 3-5 years previous Accounts Payable experience showing increasing responsibility
• Able to work independently with little instructions in a highly organized manner.
• Ability to process over 1000 invoices in a month with high accuracy
• Proactive and timely problem solver
Responsibilities:
• Prepare correspondence and phone calls to vendors
• Interact professionally with management and co-workers
• Maintain W-9 forms and process 1099 for all vendors
• Process high volumes of POs and Invoices for multiple entities/companies
• Process check request and wire transfers for A/P
• Maintain and organize filling of vendor invoices
• Other duties or special projects as assigned
