Katahdin/Dorper/St.Croix hair sheep lambs Phoenix AZ

One lamb was born 1/17/2023. Six more are due. The mothers are Katahdin/Dorper cross. The father is St.Croix. All three breeds are hair sheep which don’t need to have wool sheared. These breeds are raised for meat. In the photo, the dad has the beard. The mom has the lamb close to her. The other 6 ewes are off foraging in the woods. I am new at this. The normal age for a lamb to leave is 8 weeks. Some people like to raise bottle babies, which would ideally start after some days of mom’s milk. The price is $150. I don't know if it is a ram or a ewe. The mother is still staying away from anything that she thinks might be dangerous. When I call everyone with half a coffee can of grain, the Angus bull gets most of it and four angus heads in the bowl prevent the sheep from getting much. The ewe and her lamb are 50 feet away during this. if someone wants a bottle baby either sex, they can come now. i am not going to sell it and hold it. My township has coyotes. My pasture has a stream that becomes powerful during storms. If I still have the lamb at 8 weeks, the price will be higher. For the current lamb, if you want a bottle baby just tell me. If you want either gender, make an appointment. If you prefer ram or ewe, tell me so that I can have someone who wants the other gender arrive at the same time. I cannot corral them by myself. If this one is not your gender, you will be at the top of the list for the next lamb.
