2005 Yamaha FJR 1300 ABS Galaxy Blue Rare! Nice! Superb Condition Phoenix AZ

For sale is a super nice 2005 FJR1300 in excellent condition. It is the rare and sought after Galaxy Blue color. A superb and beautiful example of this model, which will only increase in value as time moves on. ZERO ISSUES with this FJR. I recently sold my two 4-speed Vespas (1980, 2005) and my 2007 FJR 1300AE. As I am not getting any younger, it is time to let my fourth and last motorcycle go to an appreciative new owner. I have left the best for this final sale. Always garaged, except on trips, where a motorcycle cover was used for the overnight parking. Well-pampered and serviced as appropriate, e.g. oil, filter, brake fluid change, front fork rebuild with seals, etc. I use pure gas (non-ethanol) and add Seafoam / Techron gas treatment every 5000 miles when I do an oil change. Mobil 1 Advanced Full Synthetic 10W-40 motorcycle oil with a new filter has always been used. Of course, included is the original owners manual and tool kit. This bike has been primarily used for touring, e.g. Alaska, Canada, Newfoundland, etc. It is extremely reliable and has never had as much as a hiccup. Tires are excellent Michelin Pilot Road 4 (using nitrogen in lieu of air), having great tread and ready for a road trip. As you may know, this FJR 1300 (with ABS) sold for approximately $14,000 new, and was a good value at that price. As you read below, you will see that there are over $900 in additional accessories that were added, mainly to facilitate touring. Pictures are taken showing it set up as both a sport bike and as a touring bike, e.g., added luggage bags, including canvas form-fitting duffel bag inserts; a video camera mount (not shown), a Hooker strap on system, which allows you to strap items to the passenger seat without bungee cords/straps attaching (e.g., scratching) to the plastic, Note: Hooker lifts off easily upon removal of passenger seat. Also provided is a Yamaha DVD disc which contains the owner's manual, the Yamaha technical service manual, electrical schematic, owner's manual, etc. Everything you need to know about the FJR1300. Also added were risers for the handlebars; I retained the original handlebar mounts, should you prefer the original heighth of handlebars; Front rim right angle valve stem to facilitate adding air/nitrogen, Throttle Lock Cruise Control, Custom made, color-matched rear passenger back rest ($250), made by a gentleman in NY who designed and made these exclusively for specific FJR models (looks as if it was factory made by Yamaha), Shorai Lithium Battery with pigtail for charging, Battery Tender, Sliders (protectors on R,L sides): remote alarm system, Tour Master magnetic tank bag (sells for over $100), as well as a tank protector. The bike is also fitted with a Kisan Headlight Modulator to improve visibility to other vehicles ($140). This bike is ready to ride to Alaska, which I actually did when I first bought the bike brand new! Note: I mention that I use pure gas. That was not always the case on my extended road trips, where non-ethanol gas was unavailable. However, that is a non issue in my mind, since the gas was being constantly replenished during the travels. I just do not want to give the impression that pure gas was used 100% of the time. The actual mileage is 35,542. This mileage will likely be more upon the sale of the motorcycle, since I continue to ride it on occasion... for pleasure and just to keep the gas fresh and the parts moving. If you are familiar with the FJR1300, especially if you have ridden one in the past, you know how powerful and responsive these run. As such, I will offer no joy rides! There are absolutely zero fluid leaks! P.S. Water spot on concrete in picture is from rinsing off the FJR prior to taking the pictures.
