Here I have a 1975 Yamaha GT80MX 2 stroke for Trade or sale. This was a frame removal sandblasted and painted. Bike has all its original tins, body work was done and painted in competition yellow. Forks have been rebuilt with new seals and correct oil. I believe this is the original engine to the frame, engine was removed and added a lighter new connecting rod with bearings, upgraded to a YZ 5 speed transmission, installed all new seals too. The points stator has been rebuilt as well as the oil injector. Carburetor has been rebuilt with a new air cleaner and boot assembly. New front tire, new brakes, new chain and sprockets. New seat cover. Bike starts great runs great pretty quick for even an adult rider. These bikes are becoming collector bikes and the MX models are more difficult to find than the GT versions. Looking to trade for a pre 1980 RM, YZ, CR, TM, KX 100 or larger doesn’t have to run but needs to be nearly complete.
