WARNING, CAUTION: if you are still driving your broken Jeep Grand Cherokee drivers left front power seat, STOP IMMEDIATELY, this is a very dangerous situation that you will be putting yourself & others at risk if you are. Let me explain, I have owned & operated a licensed collision repair shop for the past 49 + years & have had too many totaled Jeep Grand Cherokees come into the shop because owners got complacent with this dangerous problem. So, if your pedestal is broken @ the mounting points to the floor @ 1, 2 or 3 points & you keep telling yourself you will get to it someday it may be too late someday. If you ever get into an emergency braking situation & attempt to do a hard brake stop you & your seat will go flying backwards, you will have NO BRAKES, the SEAT BELT & AIR BAGS WILL BE WORTHLESS AT THIS POINT. F.Y.I: this dangerous problem basically only happens with the power seats not the manual ones. So, you can attempt to repair, weld it but even this is only temporary & will break again. You can try to locate another undamaged power seat but they (power seats) all break eventually & you will be right back to square one. Or you can replace your power seat with a manual seat like mine, at this point color or fabric is not what's important, safety is what matters. INTERCHANGE: this seat will fit the Jeep Grand Cherokees for the years 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 & 2004, for Limited, Laredo, Overland. PRICE: 250.00 firm & installation is available @ an additional 35.00 (without complications) if you are interested. I can & will take your old seat & dispose of it for an additional 10.00 so you don't have to worry about that. NOTE: this seat is still installed in this 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, it still starts, runs, performs good, 4.0lt, 6-cylinder motor, automatic transmission, 4x4. I have a "Clean CT.
