This rare English Empress Ironstone mug made by Staffordshire (before it became Meakin) is from the estate of a 93 year old pastor who was born in the roaring 20's in Birmingham England. No flaws, no cracks, no Nick's or any chips. Small aging signs of wear from sitting on cabinets for more than a century. Could not find any comparisons anywhere.
