Details:
2007 Chevy Avalanche LTZ, loaded with options, 4x4 with tow package with the big 6.0L V8 (367 hp, 375 lb-ft torque), 199,000 miles. Work recently completed: New tires (less than 3,000 miles on them), alternator, battery, forearm rest, windshield wipers, and paint job (by previous owner ~2 years ago who said it cost $3,000). It had a bad lifter when I first bought it which I replaced. I had both cylinders heads cleaned, deck resurfaced, and the valves re-seated. I re-installed them with new gaskets and bolts but unfortunately broke 2 exhaust manifold bolts when re-installing. The engine is making a sound and don't know if that is the air escaping the exhaust manifold since it's not 100% tight or a lifter tic again but it runs. It shifts a little hard at times which I think could be fixed with some programming. I also think the steering shaft could be replaced as it's a little loose. There is a TPMS sensor out on one of the tires and the backup sensor isn't working. We experienced some minor hail this summer (not the big stuff like Erie) but it still caused some minor dents. Driver seat heat not working. That's all I can think of right now but I don't drive it all that much so I may be missing something.
