The best candidate will drive Metal Toad's growth by building strong relationships with existing and prospective key accounts, strategic partners, and fellow Toads. The Account Executive will manage a current book of LA Entertainment businesses and work with customers on re-engagement strategies, driving $3M+ in new annual business revenue. The right person for this role will actively discover, engage, and learn our clients' business challenges in order to identify how the Metal Toad portfolio of professional services (business and technology opportunity assessments, product development, Internet of Things, Cloud, DevOps, Mobile apps, rapid prototyping) can help Entertainment, Manufacturing, Energy and Transportation companies gain competitive advantages. This includes the better use of people, processes and technology to deliver game-changing digital solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership Work in coordination with Client Services and Sales to implement the company's strategic sales plan. Uphold our company reputation by maintaining a very high standard of quality in all activities. Create weekly reports for the Executive team on sales pipeline, revenue targets, lead generation, etc. Comfortable, confident, and able to present and influence C-suite executives, managers and client product owners. Client Engagement and Sales Revenue Generation: Develop a plan to meet and exceed sales goals Strategic Account Plan: Develop exceptional enterprise strategic sales plans tailored for the client. Create roadmaps that identify opportunities, issues, and risks in order to educate clients and internal stakeholders on where to focus efforts and investments Lead Generation: Research new prospects, potential clients, and follow through on leads Solution Selling: Partner with our clients to present them with compelling technology solutions that will ensure their success Develop relationships with senior key decision-makers and influencers Gain working knowledge of Metal Toad's core technology offerings: Drupal, Django, Angular, iOS/Android, .Net, Javascript and React Provide compelling information and presentations on our service offerings: Consulting, Product Development, DevOps, Cloud Management, IoT, OTT, Advanced Analytics, and more Travel to client locations to develop relationships on multiple levels and pitch business savvy solutions Maintain accurate recording of sales, leads, people, and company information in the CRM ensuring excellent hygiene and compliance Account Growth Provide world-class customer service and ensure every potential client has an outstanding experience with Metal Toad Ability to navigate a large organization, identify accounts/projects that are in need of our specific services, create high level budget/scope, identify the key buyers and decision makers Exceed customer expectations with open communication, a strong consultative voice, a track record for problem solving, and higher-order thinking skills Exceptional collaboration with cross-functional parts of the organization including Engineering, Project Management, UX and Marketing QUALIFICATIONS Required Read (and agree to) our Corporate Values Statement Believe in the company mission 5+ years of proven success representing and selling project based professional services with relationships ranging from director-level to C-level contacts 2+ years agency experience Experience in providing professional technical services in at least one of the following industries: Entertainment, Transportation, Manufacturing or Energy Strong understanding of contracting language, terms, and negotiation tactics Experience in being approved for preferred vendor lists and negotiating complex MSAs A proven ability to successfully leverage relationships Experience managing a sales Pipeline of $5M+ and closing deals in the $500K to $2M+ range Demonstrate discipline, attention to detail, adaptability and quality Motivated and excited by the prospect of growing an innovative business Excellent written and oral communication skills used in presentations, proposals and contract writing Ability to drive to client offices regularly within the LA Metro area as well as some long distance travel (starting at 10% travel time) WHAT WE DO Metal Toad is a digital transformation agency that builds world-changing software solutions--from concept to code.
