Parting out a 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 long wheelbase 15-passenger van. The engine and transmission have lower miles -- see below. The transmission needs a rebuild. The van experienced a rollover. Everything is still intact, runs and drives. You can come see it run. I also have a video. I have paperwork documenting the parts below. You can have the whole thing for $1,800. The tires are in decent shape - quite a bit of life left. See pictures. Toyo A/T Open Country. LT245/75R16 (load range E). Tires will not be removed and sold separately -- they come with the van. $2,000 Engine (GM 6.0L LQ4) -- low miles 53,000 remanufactured engine. The engine runs great. No misfires or leaks, no trouble codes, except there is slight fluid seeping by the rear main seal... I'm not sure if it's the engine or trans, so definitely you should replace the rear main seal just in case that's what it is. Remanufactured engine installed June, 2015 at 261,000 miles. Includes the power steering pump - has only 5,000 miles (remanufactured unit). The iridium spark plugs are good for another 47,000+ miles. The remanufactured engine was a long block and did not include upper things like fuel injectors or accessories, so those were swapped over from the original engine, but it did include heads and valvetrain, being a long block. $300 Transmission (4L80 / 4L80-E / 4L80E) GM remanufactured transmission installed May, 2013 @ 243,000 miles, so it has 70,000 miles. Needs an overhaul. Has an internal fluid leak, so takes several minutes to build up enough pressure to drive. After the transmission engages, it drives. At first this problem was minor, like we had to wait 10 seconds after starting it up, but it has gotten worse. It's probably an internal seal, causing pressure to leak down. The fluid level on the dipstick shows high when you first start it up, because the fluid is leaking down internally and so pressure can't build properly. No external leaks. Just in case the torque converter seal is seeping, that should be replaced with an OE one, along with transmission pan gasket. Also, the engine sometimes dies when the engine is cold in the winter when you first start it up and you press the accelerator pedal in gear (under load) and then suddenly release. This is most likely a transmission issue and not the throttle body. Perhaps it should have the torque converter and TCC solenoid replaced. The torque converter is probably original - did not come with the reman transmission. The following are the additional symptoms/problems on this transmission: 1. transmission has excessive heat probably due to low flow through the cooler lines. I have confirmed that there is not a blockage. The transmission fluid is fresh. 2. stalls in reverse when transmission is too hot. 3. grinding sound during some shifts. 4. torque converter shudder at high speed when torque converter is locking up. Probably all or almost all of these symptoms are caused by the fluid pressure issue. $150 Steering gear remanufactured with only 5,000 miles. Almost all steering linkages have 10,000 or less miles on them. The van itself has 313,983 miles. For any other parts you need, please inquire for pricing.
