Smaller CPA firm in the Sherman Oaks area looking to hire full time staff accountant. Candidate should be able to work Monday- Friday from about 8-5PM Preferably candidate should have accounting/tax experience or have demonstrated a solid interest in those career fields through other activities. Candidates should have: Preferably: 1-2 years of work experience in public accounting Fundamental knowledge of personal and business tax returns Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and various accounting areas - Strong Computer skills (including MS office suite, internet use, etc) -Familiarity with Quickbooks/Lacerte is preferred. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Be very comfortable interacting with people, clients, etc -Friendly and outgoing personality -Ability to work well in team environment -Eager to learn -Able to multitask -Be flexible We want someone who is reliable and looking for a full time position. This position has room for growth and will offer experience in a variety of fields.
