San Fernando Valley CPA firm seeking Full time Staff Accountant Phoenix AZ

Smaller CPA firm in the Sherman Oaks area looking to hire full time staff accountant. Candidate should be able to work Monday- Friday from about 8-5PM Preferably candidate should have accounting/tax experience or have demonstrated a solid interest in those career fields through other activities. Candidates should have: Preferably: 1-2 years of work experience in public accounting Fundamental knowledge of personal and business tax returns Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and various accounting areas - Strong Computer skills (including MS office suite, internet use, etc) -Familiarity with Quickbooks/Lacerte is preferred. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Be very comfortable interacting with people, clients, etc -Friendly and outgoing personality -Ability to work well in team environment -Eager to learn -Able to multitask -Be flexible We want someone who is reliable and looking for a full time position.
