Gain Insurance Agency is now hiring for a full time accounting / bookkeeping assistant personal. We are a trucking insurance agency with 12 million in book of business. Must have previous experience in accounting and bookkeeping (do not apply if you do not have at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience). Education - At least a bachelor degree + certificates for any accounting and bookkeeping experience. Requirements: Must be very familiar with Quickbooks software General ledger accounting Accounts receivable and accounts payable Received, recorded, and deposited cash and checks as well as reconciled records of bank transactions. Reconciled all bank and credit card accounts. Researched and resolved collections and billing disputes. Processed payroll, electronic deposits and employee pay adjustments. Issued paychecks to employees on a bi-weekly basis. Excel expert Adjustment entry Data entry of customer information to custom programs Looking for full time Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Pay varies from $15-$18 an hour depending on experience. No medical benefits available. We are looking for a energetic long term candidate that is looking for a career not a short term solution.
