Maltipoo Maltese Puppies SCAM Phoenix AZ

BEWARE OF THIS PUPPY SCAM. He is at it again. Previously.... I picked up a puppy for a friend in Alaska who had found it on Seattlecraigs list. Met up at Petco in Factoria. He was hour and a half late. Mike Hernandez (sure that is not his name) is a heavy set, older Hispanic man wearing a black leather jacket, driving a dark SUV. My friend and I both attempted to contact this person to no avail. He does not respond to phone calls or messages. Ad said the puppy was vaccinated and wormed. She was not as she was full of tapeworms. She is not pad trained as stated in the ad. I had the puppy to our vet and appears healthy but was not more than 4-6 weeks old and NOT the 10 weeks as stated. I can only assume it is a ‘puppy mill’ puppy. Said "rehoming". Cannot believe we fell for this scam, I am usually more diligent. He said his name was Mike Hernandez. You can not see that ad any longer but his phone number was " 206-five eight one-4874". "post id: show contact info " Also, phone numbers used with some others was "425-five one seven-7409" and "509-three eight eight-3922". He partially spells out the numbers as not to have CL take ad down. Sure he has a bunch of numbers. Puppy goes potty about every 20 minutes which could indicate UTI or diabetes. There were no colored ones, like this puppy, with the Mom dog pictured. The litter in the picture are all light colored. I did not see that picture until I left. My friend saw it. The puppy she got was very similar to the one she thought she was getting but it was not that one. There is NO Veterinary clinic anywhere on the web for the company his paperwork shows. Bogus health certificate that he obviously filled out himself. I asked where the vet was located, told me the vet was in Bellevue, which it is not. I assume pup has had no shots. She has now. Beware of puppie scam!! Two others reached out to me with the exact same scam. One got a puppy and had to turn it over to rescue as it was full of tapeworms, lump on shoulder and not healthy. The other person did not get a puppy. Same description the other two gave. Looks like he posts to a number of different locations now and using different breed names with the same scam. My friends puppy was so full of tapeworms that her stomach was very distended. Wish we could nail this jerk. Please file a report with CraigslistSeattle, Humane Society and your police.
