The starter is used and is for parts only....part of the magnet broke and it would no longer spin ...see pictures....I replaced it with a new one ...but most of the parts from this starter are in really good condition...see pictures... and I am sure could be used to rebuild another Yamaha starter ....this starter came out of a 2008 FJR....not sure what else it will fit but it will fit many of the FJRs....they cost new $300 used ones are about $150.....maybe you can rebuild yours for 20 bucks....if the ad is up the item is still for sale ....see pictures for condition of the parts ...
