Vintage Yamaha CP10 Electronic Piano Phoenix AZ

Debuting in 1976, Yamaha's CP Series stage pianos were designed to be amplified so they could hold their own when played in a band together with electric guitar and bass. Thick tone, the CP10 has a EQ graphic sliders for great shaping of electric piano and harpsichord. It can go warm and thick to sharp high and thin. It has a nice Tremolo, controllable with a depth knob, and sustain. The instrument has two piano and two harpsichord sounds and a pitch adjustment knob. Although it is very simple to operate and manage, its sound is that of a very warm synth. And there are many variables that offer from very subtle to almost radical alterations to its inherent analog fullness. With the exception of a few very tiny chips along the edges, cosmetically this instrument is virtually museum quality. It will be a fine addition to a collection of electronic keyboards. However, there seems to be very little if any difference between the sounds when each tone is selected. As a result, I am offering the instrument with no returns.
