This is your chance to own a vintage Husqvarna Viking Designer 1. Easily one of the earliest and best home embroidery machines, this can easily go for hundreds on sites such as eBay. This includes the Husqvarna Viking Designer 1 machine, embroidery attachments, manual, bobbins, many discs. This comes with two foot pedals. I purchased a second because the first was badly cracked, which I kept for parts. The only other problem is the reverse button does not work. According to a pamphlet put out when Viking Husqvarna issued its limited edition TRIBUTE machine: “1998 – A completely new sewing experience commenced: the HUSQVARNA VIKING® DESIGNER I™ sewing machine, with unique, new-to-the-world features including The Sensor Foot Lift, Sensor Foot Pressure, Selective Thread Cutter, Color Touch Screen, built-in Disk Drive and more developed embroidery capabilities.” I bought this while working at JoAnn Fabrics as a customer trade-in. I am its second owner. I used it to make several things, including masks, before disability hit. It’s now too complicated for my fingers. My loss is your gain. Local pickup only since I am disabled and do not have a car.
