VINTAGE SMALL BIKE MOTORCYCLE RIDE IN S.E. OKLAHOMA! FREE! Phoenix AZ

The big T-TOWN TIDDLERS MOUNTAIN HIGH FALL TOUR 2022 will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023. This is going to be a real road ride for small vintage motorcycles in the Ouachita Mountains of southeastern Oklahoma, so our approximately 80-mile long route will have a backdrop of big hills, pine forests and clear mountain streams. Riders of all MODELS of street-legal motorcycles introduced anywhere in the world PRIOR TO 1980 of LESS THAN 201cc (NO EXCEPTIONS PLEASE) are welcome. As one feature of the event we will ride our little bikes down a short distance of the beautiful Talimena Drive! We will eat a sit-down lunch at the Hontubby Store. There is no cost for the ride other than for your food and gas. A support vehicle will be provided to carry tools, gas, water, inop bikes, etc. The ride will start at 9:30 A.M. at the Poteau City P.A.R.C. softball fields parking lot; 5007 South Broadway Street (U.S. Highway 271); Poteau, OK 74953. This is on the south side of U.S. Highway 271 approximately 2/3 mile west of U.S. Highway 59 Bypass/Expressway on the southwest side of Poteau. Its GPS coordinates are: north latitude 35* 2' 49", west longitude -94* 37' 52". Please bring your motorcycle full of gas, and there will be one gas stop along our route that does sell non-ethanol gasoline. Most participants will truck their bikes to the start, and you may leave your truck there for the day. Everyone who rides will be entered in a drawing for nice prizes. Participants will also receive a commemorative ride button and their choice from among many 8.5"X11" glossy photos of classic vintage small bikes. Several trophies will be awarded.
