I bought these for my wife & myself but after the divorce I have no need for them I ride a regular bike no problem the only reason I got these trikes was she has balance issues. These trikes are awesome and I have a hard time getting rid of them because they're so awesome. I don't have the space for them, and neither does she. They have so much storage in the back and one of them even has a locking back trunk that I made so that you can go into a store and leave your stuff in there and not have to worry about someone taking your stuff. Let me tell you a little bit about the value of these trikes even at full list price they are an excellent choice for anybody that's looking for a trike. And here's why, first of all I consider value as price plus features divided by quality and the quality of these are excellent and the features are unheard of for a trike in this price range. It has a mid-drive motor which is already rare to and probably non-existent at this price range. For those of you that don't know what a mid-drive does for you, it allows you to use the 7-speed Gear Drive more effectively especially when going up hills. This mid-drive also has a torque sensor rather than a Cadence Sensor. The advantage of a torque sensor over a Cadence Sensor is having the bike feel much more natural it doesn't jerk forward when you start to Pedal, and with no delay, and it knows just how much assist to supply you according to the amount of torque rather than just how fast you are pedaling. I've owned other Trikes and this trike is very stable it has a low center of gravity with its 20 inch rear wheels. The big tires handle rough surfaces and gravel very well . The battery compartment is lockable and it has a removable battery so this is very helpful when you want to charge the battery you can take it out and bring it to the outlet rather than having to have an extension go to the bike. I have taken this bike on 20+ mi rides no problem half of a battery left so it has a range of about 40 miles on flat surface using the economy mode. There are four different modes that turbo mode is handy when going up steep hills. My example ride consisted of going from Coronado Ferry Landing to Imperial Beach Pier. If you're looking for a Trike to cruise around our beautiful city these are the trikes that are going to turn heads and it's going to deliver a comfortable and Safe Ride. It breaks my heart to let these go but my loss is your gain. To sweeten the deal I can include spare tubes, and a hitch mounted carrier to transport trike.
