1968 Cadillac Miller Meteor citation landau endloader hearse. 127,355 original miles VIN# Z8283750 472 V8 engine Clean title Current plates (Vanity) Registered through October 2019. This is a beautiful California car that was owned by two mortuaries up until 2005 when it was sold to a collector. I purchased the car in 2010 when it had 112,000 miles on it. Everything is original on this car aside from the wiper blade arms, crosses on the sides and the two rows of seats in the back where the casket table once was and the removal, removal of the glass partition windows and the addition of an electronic ignition system. Because the table has been removed and replaced with the seats is registered as a station wagon. This avoids commercial registration fees. I removed the casket table and put in forward and rear facing seating and carpeting. The forward-facing seats in the rear have seat belts. Seat belts still need to be installed for the rear facing seats. I am providing all the casket table hardware that was removed in case you want to make a table that can be permanent or temporary. I am providing ready to be installed an aftermarket performance intake manifold and the gasket kit for the manifold. This car runs beautifully and only needs minor carburetor and idle adjustments since I have not driven it often the last few years. with a 472 there is plenty of power. There is only minor body damage and rust for a car of this year without any restoration. All the chrome is there. One chrome pin stripe from the driver door is removed because it kept falling off. The brackets simply need to be replaced and it can be re-attached. This car has minor rust as it has been garaged most of its years up until the last four. There is some minor body damage from separate minor hit and run / vandalism collisions while parked in the city in 2014. I have done some minor painting touch up to the body (white and crinkle coat areas that needed preservation.). All these things shown in the pictures. You will not find many classics of this era (especially a hearse similar to this line / design) in this condition. Serious buyers only. Cooling system hoses replaced. Radiator and core rebuilt. New water pump. New thermostat. All belts replaced. Rebuilt / reworked master brake cylinder and brake booster. Replaced front shocks both sides. Replaced upper control arm bushings both sides. Replaced front left lower control arm ball joint shaft and bushings. Replaced center drag link. Replaced strut arm bushing and link kit. Replaced oil pressure sending unit / switch. Replaced spark plugs and wires. Replaced tires. Rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders replaced. Rear drums machined. Newly sewn curtains on both side windows. I am providing additional fabric so that you can have the back curtains made to match. What she still needs / minor issues Exhaust leak where muffler has been broken open. I am providing a replacement muffler. It just needs to be installed. No keys to lock vehicle. You will need to pop a lock set out and have a locksmith make new ones. There is a set of ignition keys. Turn signal arm works but it sticks. Heater fan wines a bit. There is no AC for this vehicle. Wiper fluid system does no work. Slips when in park. Fine when the emergency brake is set. I am told this is simply a minor adjustment to fix. Rear differential gear should be inspected / services. This was recommended a year or two ago. Carburetor needs cleaning and adjustment with idle set properly. Minor body damage and rust. Minor rust sediment from moisture needs to be cleaned out of the inside of the doors and the area will need to be treated with an anti-rust treatment to prevent further damage. Needs a spare tire and tire change kit = wrench & jack. Extras Hearse car cover. This fits beautifully but has some wear. Edelbrock performance intake manifold ready with install gasket kit. Jumper cables. Extra set of heating system hoses and hose clamps. New spark plug wires. Aftermarket turn signal switch. In case the OEM one fails. Gas can. Hardware from casket table that was removed (rollers and guides etc.). Fabric to match the new curtains on the sides (so you can make the back match). Miscellaneous tools. Window sun deflector.
