The Long Story, shortened: This bike was originally built by a semi-pro motocross racer that ran it for 2 seasons in 2007-2008. In the '08 economic crash he had to let it go to recover cash, and my buddy bought it and rode it 4-5x a year for 12 years on trails (30+ years riding experience, but not an aggressive rider). I bought it from him in 2020, as my first Dirt Bike. YEP.... you're right, this IS NOT the right bike as a first bike. This thing is a beast. Since then I spent well over $3k getting it dialed in for my weight and getting the new clutch and valve job.... but was recently diagnosed with severe hip degeneration due t a genetic abnormality called FAI and I'm getting double total hip replacement surgery (at age 40)... so needless to say I probably shouldn't be learning how to ride dirtbikes right now. I rode this once, barely, when I first got it, and haven't ridden it since it's been fully set up. Clearly, my loss is your gain. $3900 (PRICE DROPPED) Bike is located in Carlsbad, CA. No, this bike is NOT street legal, strictly a dirtbike.
