1979 YAMAHA 750 TRIPLE UNDER 25K MILES NICE-OBO Phoenix AZ

MUST SELL SOON************OBO***************MAKE ME AN OFFER Winter is here and it's time to sell my 1979 Yamaha XS750D special .This is the legendary "triple" (3 cylinder) bike from Yamaha, and it is quite fast on acceleration.Bike has 24,893 original miles on it, and it almost runs well,( it starts right up with choke but conks out when given gas,,Sign that the secondary jets in carbs are clogged and need to be cleaned)and does not leak.Additional features include a bolt on windshield,with added extension on top, twin air horns with compressor works using horn button and these babies are quite loud which is what you want with todays drivers out there--they will notice you!! Bike is a 5 speed shaft drive, so no chains to worry about,Chrome "case" or engine cover or protector,with riding peg on right side(removed left one to mount air horns.Also included is a box of assorted parts, including badges shown,bolt on behind seat chrome bar,numerous extra pegs and a spare front fender.The bike looks awesome with front fender off, and I may remove it before sale(4 bolts only) but will include it.Front fender removed 8/21/2018.. Very little rust on bike,mostly around small screws etc.Everything works as it should.Bike does have a few minor issues which are: small dent in tank that doesn't show up in pics;,seat needs a cover,I just have vinyl or something covering it,it works,but looks like hell, and lastly it will probably need new tires, not much tread left. Bike can be driven home if you just want to go on the fast idle, but I wouldn't recommend it for any real distance due to carbs, or on wet roads due to tires. Buyer will have to pay and go with me to title shop to transfer and retitle the bike before taking possession of it for insurance reasons.Title is clean and in hand.Brand new battery installed 5-24-2017.
