If you're looking for a very fast and stiff bike for fast competitive racing, this bike will more than satisfy the need. However, you would be doing a disservice to the bike if just used for recreational purposes. Sure, it catches looks, but the real looks come at the end of the finish line. This bike/machine is built for power, speed and competition! I'm selling because I just don't have the time to competitively ride anymore. I bought the frame last year and equipped the bike with SRAM eTap/hydro. Unfortunately, I never took advantage of using e-Tap's wireless system, shame. However, this bike has been built from the ground up with carefully chosen components for speed and racing. This is the bike that won 6 stages in the 2018 Tour de France and was credited with being one of the fastest bikes on the Tour. It's also the fastest bike Specialized has ever built. To be honest, I was having minor problems with SRAM's chain-rub and BB. Using the micro adjustment, I was able to eliminate the chain rub and installed a new BB (FSA BB-30, ceramic). After getting things in order with the gears, this bike has been exceptional every time I've ridden it. The slight extra weight of the disk brakes and weighty cockpit, which contributes significantly to the weight of the bike, is hardly noticeable on fast long rides; it's especially fast out the gate with sprinting and cornering and is surprisingly fast/stable on steep climbs (at least what can be found here in Illinois), and has great control with the e-tap's disk braking system on descents. The bike is very stiff, especially in the right areas such as the bottom bracket and head tube. It also has excellent power transfer which translates to a very efficient power ride. Overall: quick, agile and precise. My suggestion for obtaining that extra leanness is to go with a conventional cockpit. As it currently stands, the bike is close to 8.22 kg (18 lbs), but is still one of the fastest bikes on the market. My top speed on this machine averaged over 51.49 kph, or 32 mph on the flats (group ride) for 8.046 km, or 5 miles! The bike is in exceptional condition but does have small cosmetic flaws, but they are very minor, and hardly noticeable (lettering on left fork and top tube - blemish). The bike has been ridden less than a season since I've had it--that's less than 48.28 km, or 30 miles a week, and still looks in near mint condition. So, let's run down the components: 1.
