EI engineers work in small teams with highly competent peers throughout the project. We are seeking approximately 1 Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our Automated Fiber Placement team. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, significant technical skill, hands-on ability, and evidence of collaborative work typically including student team or capstone projects. We are looking for people who like to work on their cars, bikes, build furniture, or build robots at home for example. Student experience in carbon fiber lamination processes and/or interest in design and optimization of high-performance, large-scale machine tools will be relevant. To qualify to apply for this position you must be: ⢠Able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English ⢠Able to lift 30 lbs. to waist height frequently during the day ⢠Enrolled in or recently graduated from a U.S. ABET or EngineersCanada-accredited undergraduate Mechanical or Aero Engineering program ⢠Able to show design skill using 3D CAD in the last two years ⢠Able to work flexible hours and overtime when needed ⢠A U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien, or a Canadian Citizen This is a full-time salaried position with medical, dental, vision, profit sharing, and retirement benefits.
