Thanks to caring people who sign the animal rights petitions, support the organizations that promote animal rights, and lobby their members of Congress, in recent months California has banned the sale of cosmetics that use animal testing as well as the extreme confinement of baby calves used for veal, mother pigs, and egg-laying hens in tiny cages by the end of 2021, Los Angeles and San Francisco have banned the sale of fur, over 300 companies pledged to stop using Mohair wool, Japan is ending pesticide tests on dogs, British brand Burberry is joining Diane von Furstenberg, Armani, Versace, Gucci, Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, and others in banning fur from all its collections - and that it's ditching angora, too, Volkswagen will stop using monkeys for inhalation tests, and AirBridgeCargo has banned ALL shipments of monkeys destined for use in laboratory experiments anywhere in the world!
