Our BIG boy needs a BIG fenced yard and another active dog. Since we have gone from an acre to a small lot, Chima doesn't have room to run like he use to. He usually ends up wiping out because he doesn't have a long stretch when he plays with the kids. He doesn't like to go for walks for more than 5 minutes and keeps getting fatter. We take him and has 13 year old brother to the lake to swim and play fetch but his brother is only allowed limited play due to a bad shoulder and hip and when brother is done, Chima is done. So it's been hard to exercise and play due to his brother. His brother will try to keep up and then be in pain for days. If we take him out to play by himself then it upsets and stresses out his brother the whole time. Loves cats and dogs Absolutely loves children Hates cows(he had an incident with one and now barks obsessively at them) I'm not sure if he is potty trained anymore. He was an inside dog as a puppy but would go in our pool and then roll in the dirt and became and outside dog exclusively at 1 1/2 years old. We do bring him inside in the garage or laundry room during the cold weather and he does well. He usually wants to come inside at 40 degrees. I know he's probably content where he is but if he can have a big fenced yard and another active dog to play with, he would be living the good life. He is always snuggling with brother so definitely needs another active dog. This is an extremely hard decision for us all but I think it would be the best one for him if we found the right home.
