The Aerospace Engineering Assembly Technician Level II/III full-time role requires attention to detail and keen ability to understand complex spacecraft parts. This position requires flexible hours, and creative thinking. Qualified candidates can apply directly on the company's website at https://ascenteceng.com/careers/ Positions open for full time day shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30PM + overtime as needed Position Requirements: Must have experience working with precision machined parts assembly in the aerospace, automotive, medical or electronics industry. Ability to read and understand customer specifications, blueprints & drawings. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook. US Citizen High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver License Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs Stand for an extended period of time Skills or Experience Preferred Experience gained from the military or from an aviation manufacturing company preferred Assemble parts and secure in place using Clecos or tooling/hand clamps Precision hand drilling using correct drill bits and reamers for pilot and full size holes, including countersinking to proper depth Hole deburring using chip chasers, deburring tools, and files Surface preparation for adhesive sealing or bonding Apply liquid nitrogen to install liners Check work after completion of each operation to ensure it is correct per the drawing Understanding of aerospace hardware installation (Riveting, Hi-loks, Nut plates Etc).
