This is a great running, driving Sprotsmobile pop top camper bus that is ready to go. It could use some paint and a fresh interior, but is still in nice enough shape to be used as it is. The rear seat and bed cushion are in great shape. The tent canvas has a few rips and will need to be replaced. It is in decent enough shape to still be used as it is for a bit. The bus was used as a sign in front of a dinner in UT for years after a full restoration. It was painted accordingly below the belt line with graphics and signage for the dinner. When I bought the bus a lot of that was sanded off, and has been painted with Rust-oleum. The major dents have been hammered out, no plastic body filler has been added, and it will still need finish work before paint. The nose of the bus looks great, has never had any major damage, and the body is really a straight. The bus has had everything behind the cab done as far as rust repair and will still needs a couple of spots on the lower doglegs on both sides by the front bumper steps repaired. The inner and outer rockers were replaced, as well as the spot in front of the passenger rear wheel and the battery tray. The frame is rock solid and has had undercoat from the factory. There hasn't been any rust or repair to any of the supports or floor and they all look great! There are a few spots on the front floor that will need to be repaired that you can see in the pictures. The rest of the bus is rust free! The windshield is new and I have a box of with new seals for all the side louvered windows, and new seal for the pop-top that comes with purchase. The pop-top is in nice shape and operates smooth up and down. Sliding door operates smooth, locks open, and closes easy. All original side windows open and close like they should and the glass is in great shape. The original wheels were sand blasted and have had all of the clips that were broken replaced before the new baby moons were installed. The tires have plenty of tread left on them and there is new carpet and curtains. The engine 1600cc dual-port engine was rebuilt, new German Solex carburetor, 009 distributor, electronic ignition, Bosch blue coil, and the brakes and shocks were replaced all around. New tail lights and side markers. The engine fires up quick, runs smooth, and pushes the bus down the road great! Stock transmission operates great and shifts good! The bus is a solid running and driving vehicle and wouldn't take much to make worth over double what I am asking. Most of the hard work has been done and with some paint and newer interior this could be a great show vehicle! The bus is ready to hit the road and explore! · Rebuilt 1600cc Dual-Port · New German Solex Carburetor · New Windshield with seal · New Carpet · New Blinds · New Shocks · New Brakes · New Brake Lights and Side Markers · Run and drives great!
