The Quota was Moto Guzzi's heavy-duty "adventure bike," first built as a police/military vehicle for use in North Africa. As such, it is big and tough, essentially unbreakable, and uses Guzzi's over-built, well proven 1100cc V-twin with EFI.
The Quota was built for a number of years but only imported to the US in 2000. I've read that 50 were imported, I've read 200. In any case, you won't find many of these parked in front of the pub.
I bought this one from the original owner and have ridden it to both coasts. This is the most comfortable long-range bike I've ever owned. Torquey and light on its feet, the Quota is a joy to burn long, fast miles on super slab, but it's fully capable of taking you down the dirt roads.Contact me via email to view, and make sure the subject line demonstrates that you are not a robot.
