10'x8' Tiny House/Ice Shack/Fishing Shack/Deer Stand/Cabin/RV/Camper/Tiny Home/Trailer/Enclosed Trailer/Garden Shed/Storage Shed/Kids Play House/Dog House/Utility Shed/Cabin on the Frozen Lake/Chicken Coop I built and completed this project in December of 2018. The base of the build is a brand NEW ALUMA 8610T deckover aluminum trailer. The trailer has a 2200 pound torsion axle. Tires are brand new. Comes with your choice of steel wheels or aluminum rim wheels (upgrade). The house/shack tows down the road at highway or interstate speeds with no sway and WEIGHS ONLY 1,620 lbs. This build could easily be towed by relatively any type of vehicle. This build/shack/house is BOLTED to the trailer allowing for removal if so desired. Trailer can then be used for utility/miscellaneous use through various times of the year. Siding and Roof is .165" steel siding, which is rated for 40 years. The house/shack has (6) insulated windows (3/4"). The (6) windows are brand new IPS brand slider windows, 32"x14"; All windows can be locked and come with screens for summer use. Door is brand new Mastercraft steel exterior door with door knob and deadbolt. Exterior is completely sealed and waterproofed and provides for scent free hunting if desired as a deer stand. This is built like a house, and not a trailer or camper. Steel is rated for 40 years; nothing on the exterior needs maintenance and/or upkeep, and will not rust. Peak interior height inside shack is 6'4". This build is wired for electricity, for generator use or from a powered outlet off any power source. Includes (3) in ceiling lights on a light switch; Also has (6) outlets; Entire interior has premium knotty pine tongue and groove wood. Flooring is a brownish-gray colored premium outdoor carpet. 5/8 treated plywood is flooring base under carpet. Walls are insulated using premium fiberglass insulation; exterior over framing is house wrapped (Block It/Tyvek) waterproofing under steel siding; interior vapor wrapped over insulation (4mm thick vapor wrap). Framing was done with 2x4's, on center; every part of the framing was pre-drilled and screwed, not nailed, for maximum strength and stability. Shack can be heated with an electric heater or propane heater, and heats to over 75 degrees very quickly in winter weather in Northern Wisconsin. Shack does not drop down; shack does not have holes in the floor, though I could do so with ease if desired. I have added a picture of the polymer plastic ice fishing hole(s) I can put in if desired (add $30 per hole). I can lift the shack by the hitch and maneuver it directionally and back and forth on level ground. Shack is built evenly and balanced and pulls down the road at highway speeds with ease and no sway. This shack weighs 1,620 lbs. It is very light weight. The scale ticket is included for your purposes and information. I have built a customized staircase that mounts under the rear of the trailer frame that acts as a rear stabilization for the build. The staircase is built at a height that levels the shack when cranked down on itself from the front jack. Any questions, comments or concerns, feel free to contact me.
