It is just as important to me that your pet is comfortable with me as it is that I am comfortable with them. A little about Tony, the owner and operator: Working with animals brings me a great deal of joy. When you have their trust, they are always happy to see you and brighten every day with enthusiasm, energy, tricks, and emotional support. I believe that my pets play an integral part in my life and I treat them as family. I really enjoy being able to work directly with my community and neighbors, helping to meet their needs and providing their fur babies with much-needed love and attention while they are away. Over the years, I have shared my home with a wide array of creatures, ranging from dogs, parrots, and hedgehogs, to fancy species of cockroaches, rare corals, and squirrels. Some were fosters, some were food for other critters, and many have been my own companions. Right now I have dogs, cats, parrots, tarantulas, and a bearded dragon. I recently lost my 12.5-year-old rabbit, Benjamin, and miss his snuggles so much! I adore ferrets and think they are very much fun (as well as trouble!) to work with! I also love working with dogs because we so easily make friends. Dogs love me! I am well practiced at games such as fetch, tug, and hide-and-seek. Trying to teach a new skill or trick? I'm happy to help with basic training and reinforcement. Teamwork makes the dream work! Experience: I started working in the pet industry in 2006, spending several years working in high-quality pet retail establishments, as well as working closely with several local rescues, fostering animals of all different species and sizes. My time in the industry has given me an opportunity to work with and learn about a wide range of animals and their needs. I have participated in numerous training seminars relating to animal nutrition, behavior, training, and general care. I have experience working with animals in emergency situations, as well as in long-term rehab situations, following injury or accident. Paired with experience gained from caring for my own animals, this has given me an education in many things, including, but not limited to, clipping toenails, cleaning teeth, administering medication, animal nutrition, preparing special diets, and offering 24-hour monitoring of sick, injured, or orphaned animals. I look forward to getting to know your pet's individual personality quirks as we work together! *Service Breakdown Dog Walking: I will take your dog for a walk around your local neighborhood for the desired time period. 30 min - $20 + $5/ additional dog 60 min - $30 + $5/ additional dog Check-ins: I will stop by your home and spend 30 minutes with your critters, playing, feeding, giving medication or a potty break, or whatever is needed. 30 min - $20 Small Animal Boarding: (in my home) I will take your pets into my home and care for them while you are out of town. I am able to house and work with a variety of small animals, including exotics such as hedgehogs and ferrets. You will need to provide food and vaccination records (for dogs). I can only accommodate small dogs at this time, and they must be friendly with other animals. Pick up and drop off is available if needed. Rodents: $10/night + $3/additional critter Rabbit's and Guinea Pigs: $15/night + $3/additional Ferrets, Hedgehogs, Chinchillas: $20/night + $5/additional Small Dogs: $25/night +$8/additional (restrictions apply) Pet Sitting: (in your home) I will sleep in your home at night with your pets, if you wish for that. Throughout the day, while making my normal rounds, I will stop in and check on your critters every 3-6 hours, or as needed. Dogs over 15 pounds will need to be watched in your home. $35/night + $5/additional pet Dog Nanny: If you have a pet that requires full-time supervision due to special needs or health complications, I may be able to help out. Toenail Trims: $20 as stand-alone service $10 when added to another service Free when booking 5 day or longer sitting/boarding Pet Taxi Services: Does your pet require regular veterinary visits for medicine injections or blood tests? I will pick your pet up and take them to their appointment, then take them back to your home and drop them off when everything is finished. $25 + $5/additional pet Bathing: Want a clean dog without having to turn around and clean your bathroom too? I will come pick your mucky dog up and return them to you clean and ready for snuggles!
