I believe he is a violet/turquoise mix...he does not have his black ring yet. He is a year and a half old and starting to practice talking...likes to copy songs he hears and compose his own. :) He is not aggressive at all, but is extremely timid--he does not like a lot of noise/action around him (this causes him to try to "outdo" the noise, so he would not be suitable for an apartment)! He is used to having other animals around, and gets along with my smaller birds. I have been working with him for over a year, but I think my house is just too chaotic for him--he loves attention and being right next to me all day, but is still very scared of contact. He does love to be out of his cage most of the day (he puts himself away at night) and has not been destructive in the least--more of an observer. We are rehoming because my kids really want something they can handle daily--ideally I would like him to have a mate. Asking $300, but will negotiate a bit if I can find a perfect home for him.
