BUSINESS CONTRIBUTION: The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of marketing content across various mediums including digital, ecommerce, social media, and more for all Forestry Lawn and Garden (FLAG) category businesses. This role will be a contributor to the development of marketing content strategies and be responsible for executing against those plans. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: • Create content as outlined and prioritized by the Content Core Team including: Digital, Social Media, Ecommerce, and In- Store • Collaborate with Business Segment Directors (BSDs) and product teams to create relevant content in support of products from launch throughout the product lifecycle • Understand key end-user audiences, seasonal demand, and Oregon brand guideline in developing content and messaging • Work with SEO Specialist to ensure content is optimally built for search engines • Ensure content is accurate and has a consistent "brand voice" • Audit performance results against KPIs established by the Content Core Team • Make recommendations for future development opportunities based on results • Contributor to the Content Core Team including feedback on industry trends, reporting results and recommendations, offering perspectives on strategies, KPIs, and content calendars • Support global teams as necessary on their regional needs EDUCATION: • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business administration, or other related field required QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED: • 1-3+ years of experience in marketing or related fields • Excellent writing and editing skills • Experience producing content for various digital platforms • Understanding of current and future digital trends • Aptitude for understanding technical subject matters; ability to quickly grasp core ideas of complex topics • Strong organization and project management skills • Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality manner • Solve problems analytically; search out relevant information and gauge its importance when making decisions • Creative thinker and problem solver • Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are globally dispersed • Set a good example of personal integrity • Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn; seek out development activities to improve skills and increase knowledge; learn from other team members and own mistakes • Take initiative, seek and act on opportunities to improve organization performance • Ability to translate specific goals into action and follow through to achieve goals • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Adobe Creative suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro) a plus • Available to work on site as required by job and eligible for domestic and international travel several times per year up to one week duration ABOUT BLOUNT INTERNATIONAL, INC: Blount is a global manufacturer and marketer of replacement parts, equipment, and accessories for consumers and professionals operating primarily in two market segments: Forestry, Lawn, and Garden ("FLAG"); and Farm, Ranch, and Agriculture ("FRAG").
