Second Chance German Shepherd Rescue rescues as many German Shepherd Dogs as we have temporary foster homes to house them while they wait for their new families to find them. We have all kinds of GSDs for all kinds of homes in the East Bay, South Bay/Peninsula, Placer County, and Sacramento/Roseville areas. Enjoy the benefits of having a German Shepherd Dog without the long-term commitment. If you have a few days, or a few weeks, our dogs would love your help. We pay for all the basic veterinary care for our dogs. And we provide leashes, collars, food and crates where needed. Our volunteers are available to answer any questions, before or after you have your temporary dog. It's hard to say goodbye, but our German Shepherd Dogs are really hoping to say hello to you. Shelter German Shepherd Dogs often need some help with basic training so families with some large dog experience, and who don't have small pets or young children can be best for this opportunity.
