Title: Project Support Coordinator Reports to: Program Manager Position Status: Part-time to Full-time, TBD; Salary: Commensurate with experience Location of Position: Lexington, MA ABOUT FAMILY VOICES Family Voices is a national grassroots network organization of families and friends of children/youth with special health care needs and disabilities that promotes partnership with families--including those of cultural, linguistic, and geographic diversity--in order to improve health care services and policies for children. Working with family leaders and professional partners across the country since 1992, Family Voices brings a respected family perspective to improving health care programs and policies and ensuring that health care systems include, listen to, and honor the voices of families. We engage in a variety of concurrent projects and activities towards that end. Our work environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative (often over a distance). Our team consists of about 15 core staff and consultants spread across the country, most of whom are parents or family members of children with special health care needs. POSITION SUMMARY The Project Support Coordinator position is located in our Lexington, MA, satellite office. The position reports to the Program Manager and works closely with the management team to support the many concurrent projects of the organization. The Project Support Coordinator will utilize excellent communication skills to interact with remote staff across the country. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES ⢠Data Tracking and Reporting: Coordinate the collection and data entry of project activity data from staff and consultants, and provide assistance as needed with grant reporting. ⢠Communications: Assist with electronic communications to our national network of family organizations and partners via Constant Contact, listservs, newsletters, and social media. ⢠Materials Development: Assist with creation of materials such as PowerPoint presentations; tip sheets; summary documents; reports, etc. ⢠Webinar Coordination: Support online training webinars through assistance with registration; attendee/speaker communications; setup of online meeting room (Adobe Connect); backend support during live webinars. ⢠Website Content: Perform website content updates in WordPress. ⢠General Administration: Schedule meetings; participate in logistical planning for events; perform other tasks as necessary to ensure successful achievement of project deliverables. REQUIREMENTS ⢠College degree and at least 2 years of professional experience; ⢠Excellent written and oral communication skills including warmth and a well-developed sense of humor; ⢠Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, respond to tight timelines, pay attention to detail, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment; ⢠Strong skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access; ⢠High comfort level with technology and ability to easily learn and use new programs as needed; ⢠Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a collaborative team; ⢠Flexible, proactive, and resourceful approach to daily tasks; BENEFITS ⢠Competitive salary ⢠Generous paid time off policy ⢠Health, dental, and vision insurance benefits, flexible spending account, 401K match program.
