General Job Description The Accounting/Office Assistant supports the department manager/executive and department projects while implementing measures to increase the company's effectiveness and efficiency. Location Centennial, CO General Responsibilities ï§ Business Process Analysis and Documentation: Research, analyze, and document the electrical project process at Weifield finding ways to be more efficient and profitable. ï§ Identify Solutions for Improvement in the Organization: Through process analysis, this individual shall determine areas of improvement in terms of efficiency and company effectiveness, developing appropriate solutions. ï§ Information Dissemination: Develop and facilitate high-quality and high-frequency communications throughout the company. Investigate and implement tools to achieve these goals. ï§ Company "Handyman": Act as an internal consultant to help multiple persons and departments within the organization develop programs and solutions to enhance efficient and/or effectiveness. ï§ Training/Mentoring: Promote the professional growth of the team. Continually pursue opportunities for personal career/training development. ï§ Industry Awareness: Continually seek industry and market information to provide Weifield with the information necessary for successful business development. Job Specific Responsibilities ï§ Enter vendor invoices ï§ Enter and file vendor payments ï§ Process lien releases ï§ Verify paperwork is submitted for progress payments ï§ File check stubs and bank receipts ï§ Research and process customer claims for invoice payments and disputes ï§ Compile and sort documents ï§ Verify and post details of vendor accounts in A/R ï§ Assist in maintaining organized finance files ï§ File checks ï§ Enter time sheets and PTO for payroll and quantities for project performance tracking ï§ Process employee expense reimbursements ï§ Other projects as assigned Qualifications/Skills Required ï§ Minimum high school diploma, Associates/Bachelor's degree is preferred. ï§ Experience in administrative work. ï§ Possess excellent quantitative and analytical skills. ï§ Proactive and good with deadlines. ï§ Organized, detailed-oriented and professional. ï§ Entrepreneurial approach to problem solving and the ability to handle a variety of tasks. ï§ Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. ï§ Motivated, detail oriented and will not accept second best. ï§ Possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse, dynamic and fast-paced environment. ï§ Self-motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in business strategies. ï§ Proficient in MS Office products. ï§ Able to use office equipment such as computer, calculator, copier and fax machine. ï§ Financial experience is a plus. Reporting The Accounting/Office Assistant reports to the Accounting Manager. Compensation Package Start Date: TBD Status: Full-time Pay Rate: DOE Employee Health Insurance: Healthcare 100% of the "Base Plan" by WGC 1st of the month following date of hire Voluntary Dental/Vision Insurance: Paid by employee based on coverage selection 1st of the month following date of hire Disability & Accident Insurance: Paid by employee based on coverage selection 1st of the month following date of hire Life Insurance: Paid by employee based on coverage selection 1st of the month following date of hire Flex Pan: Employee can set aside $2550 pre-tax dollars for health/$5000 for daycare 1st of the month following date of hire PTO: 10 days per year, then 15 days per year after 5 years.
