Each summer, the Iron Man competition passes right through our town of Wilmington! Bedroom Details: Marble Mountain Chalet sleeps 12 people. There are 4 bedrooms each with king sized beds. It comfortably sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms. 2 foam mattresses are available that can accommodate up to 4 additional people. If there are 12 guests, please know space will be tight but you're on vacation and are free to decide what you prefer. The upper level bedroom is a spacious, ensuite master bedroom with generous closet space. A second large ensuite master bedroom is conveniently located on the main level. On the lower level, the third and fourth bedrooms each have their own entrance for extra privacy, light and easy outdoor access. All bedrooms boast flat screen televisions with basic cable channels, ceiling fans, oversized closets, warm color schemes and comfy linens. A crib is provided for your convenience. All linens are included. Each spacious bedroom has warm, stylish colors and tasteful decor for a luxurious stay. The beds are comfortable and inviting for a restful night sleep under beautiful, warm quilts. Extra pillows are on the beds for your enjoyment and spare blankets are available for chilly nights. Each bedroom has ample closets with wooden hangers as well as drawer space for unpacking. Ceiling fans are in each room to enable greater air circulation. The two bedrooms on main and upper floor (and living room) have A C units. The master bathrooms are on the upper and main levels of the home and offer oversized custom tile showers. The lower level bathroom has a steam shower and urinal. Also on the lower level is a relaxing Finlandian dry sauna, perfect for sore muscles and health! Kitchen: Our kitchen is a chef's dream! With expansive granite counter tops and a full complement of tools and appliances you'll enjoy preparing fantastic meals for the entire crew! Stools around the table/bar area enable your group to eat and gather all together. A small desk and wireless internet plus local phone calling (USA only) are conveniently provided. Long distance calls are not included. Outdoor Living: The outdoor living space at Marble Mountain Chalet is sure to please with fantastic amenities to help you maximize your vacation enjoyment. Views from the oversized deck of the Stevenson Wilmington mountain range and in winter Whiteface Mountain are lovely. The deck contains a 5 person hot tub, dining table and chairs. The yard offers plenty of room for playing and enjoying the great outdoors as well as a fire pit for making s'mores and memories with family and friends. Wood is for sale at the home for purchase at $6 per bundle with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. You may wish to start your fire with a bundle and then use fallen, dead branches from around the property to maintain it. Cutting live branches is not permitted in the Adirondack Park but you're free to use any dead fallen wood. We welcome you to have fun and enjoy the outdoor fire pit!! Additional Information: For your comfort, from May 15th to October 15th we are pleased to provide the main and upper level bedrooms and living room with air conditioning units. The following items are minimally supplied (enough to get you started): Toilet paper; paper towels; dish soap; and laundry detergent. Shampoo and body soaps not included. Bed linens as well as bath and hand towels are provided. Wash cloths and beach towels are not included. A plow service shovels snow (above 5 inches) in winter. Sand and a snow shovel are available on the front deck for guest use. Boasting over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails and 11 lifts, Whiteface Mountain has the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies and features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders, expert glades and slides for the advanced and loads of trails for everyone in between! The longest run is the 2.1 mile 'Wilmington Trail' and total skiing/boarding stretches over 22 miles. Whiteface Mountain is truly fun for everyone!
