MAIN & VINE - Villanova, PA MAIN & VINE is a Northern California focused American Bistro. This upscale casual restaurant and bar will focus on offering fresh locally sourced, approachable cuisine in a chic, yet comfortable setting. Our 25 seat bar with additional lounge will focus on a top notch selection of California focused wines, fresh from the vine inspired cocktails, and the best of Northern California's craft beer breweries. All within an up-tempo and fun environment. We are currently in search for the following positions to join our opening team: -Pizza Cooks -dishwashers -hot line cooks The right individuals will be tasked to work directly with our chef in developing and operating an organized and truly professional scratch kitchen operation. Additional qualifications include: -Ability to develop creative special menu items. -Open availability including nights and weekends -Professional communication with both FOH and BOH staff. -Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization -"Can do" attitude We ask that all of our team possess a do whatever it takes approach to their position. EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years experience in a high volume restaurant. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or telephone. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
