Title: Superintendent, Site Construction Type: Full time, non-exempt Location: Manassas, VA Reports To: Vice President Visit Us: https://www.mullerec.com/ We are a Site Work Contractor that works throughout the Mid- Atlantic Region specializing in a broad range of services. Our clients include Site Development/Heavy Highway/Infrastructure Contractors, General Contractors, Real Estate Developers, Government Agencies, Homebuilders and Property Managers that work in Virginia, Maryland and DC. With the rapid growth of our business, we are seeking to hire a full time, Construction Superintendent. In this role, the Superintendent's primary responsibility will be to supervise the field construction of various projects, including organization, planning, and scheduling, in order to complete the work at a high level of production and quality. Responsibilities: -Arrive at the construction yard in Manassas, VA by 5:30 AM to meet with the crew daily and ensure they understand the work plan for the day and report to their job sites in a timely manner -Onsite management and supervision of crew -Review scope of work with client rep and crew foreman on job site -Closely manage production and quality control of all crews -Motivate crews to work as efficiently as possible -Work with our internal Project Manager to ensure effective communication on all items and issues related to production -Review, complete, and submit Electronic Site Visit Form including taking/attaching photos of all jobs visited -Communicate in a professional manner with all client reps and handle any disputes/disagreements calmly and professionally -Take direction from Project Manager and create a plan of what sites to visit during the week and set goals to achieve for each visit -Make recommendations to the managers on promotions, terminations and performance improvement procedures for all field employees Qualifications: -Minimum of 5 years of site work construction related experience -General Experience and knowledge with all aspects of site development -Familiarity with details of erosion control, punch work, bond release and stormwater drainage installation -Must have a Valid Driver's License -Ability to operate a Bobcat Mini Excavator and Bobcat Skid steer Compensation: -Competitive Salary -Yearly Bonus -Paid Holidays and Vacation -Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance -401K with Company match -Company phone, computer, work vehicle for business travel etc. To Apply: Email your Resume, References, and Cover Letter Muller Erosion & Site Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer and makes hiring decisions solely on the basis of merit.
