List of responsibilities and duties: Oversee and audit all accounting activities/operations within the hotel and its affiliated entities in QuickBooks Prepare and analyze monthly and year-end financial reports Reconcile and analyze the General Ledger of the hotel and its affiliated entities Meet with the management and accounting team on a monthly basis and report financial analyses, findings, and irregularities Effectively train and support the hotel staff on proper financial procedures Monitor accounts payable and receivables, as well as cash flow Ensure that the hotel and its entities are operating in accordance with state and federal laws not limited to taxation, disclosure and recordkeeping requirements.
