Beautiful hand-woven Iranian Silk Tabriz, circa 1979. Original price tag, $16,000 with most antique rugs appreciating at 10-20% per year. Amazing 200 knots per inch. This piece was wall-mounted for four years, with the remainder of its life in moisture-free storage (ie, it has never seen floor usage). Design is a majestic leaf and tendril motif composed of beautifully rich, deep colors and an elongated octagonal centerpiece. If the listing is up, the rug is still for sale.
