38' Scorpion Offshore Speedboat - TRADES CONSIDERED Phoenix AZ

LAND IN ORANGE OR SULLIVAN COUNTY NY OTHERWISE: I am selling my newly refurbished 1983 38' Scorpion speedboat for $60,000 obo. The boat was completely refitted in 2018/2019 and I have all records and photo's to support that. I have all the receipts for all the work performed. I have all of the paperwork from every owner going back to the 1st owner of the boat so I have full history. Its US Coast Guard registered. Bring your surveyor as boat is in great condition. I would also consider a 50% co-owner at a buy in of $30,000. All the work completed and stats on vessel are below. USCG certified NYS registered, so no ugly numbers on the side required. New USCG navigation lighting all around (LED type). New USCG safety equipment (Life jackets, medical, fire & signal). Interior completely gutted and replaced. Fiberglass hull completely gone through bow to stern port to starboard. All new thru hull fittings. New paint everywhere. New head. New Vetus Magnus Offshore deck hatches. New Bomar inspection and stowage hatches. New cockpit upholstery. New interior upholstery. New electrical wiring system throughout. New marine batteries (2 in the engine compartment). New 30A shore power hook up. New 3 battery automatic charging system. New twin 200 gallon aluminum fuel tanks by certified marine tank welding firm (a total of 400 gallon capacity). Starboard engine completely rebuilt 10 hrs ago. Port engine top end rebuilt 10 hrs ago last total rebuild 146 hrs ago. Port & Starboard transmissions, Borg Warner Velvet Drives serviced 10 hrs go rebuilt 146 hrs ago. Port & Starboard Mercury TRS racing drives serviced 10 hrs ago rebuilt 146 hrs ago. All new hydraulic hoses for power trim on both the drives and trim tabs. New gauges. New Lowrance HDS Carbon 12" monitor with speed, charts, radar and sonar on NEMA system. New ICOM VHF deep range radio. Reconditioned Mercury racing K-Plane Tabs. New deck edge bumper guard. New hoses throughout (engine water cooling, fuel, house fresh water). New bilge pumps. To much else to list but have all documentation. The boat moves out at WOT around 57 to 60 knots. Cruising speed is generally 35 to 40 knots. Boat is currently in Freeport NY, but could be easily moved to other areas on Long Island (North or South shore), City Island or the New Jersey/Connecticut coast by water. Further distances can be done by trailer (not included). The engines are twin 500 hp 454 Crusader type Chevrolet motors and as noted above the Starboard engine was completely rebuilt 10 hours ago and the Port engine was rebuilt 146 hours ago but it had a top end head job performed 10 hours ago. These Julio De Varona built Scorpion hulls are the most notorious open ocean offshore racing V-hull speedboats ever made. I have all the documentation for the vessel. The boat sleeps 4, has a head and a small galley. Great weekend cruiser. The cockpit will hold 5 to 6 people.
