1955 Chevy Belair Wagon Phoenix AZ

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-Door Wagon / With Parts Car. Started working on it about 6 years ago. I found a parts car in El Centro so I could replace the rusty roof. I cut the parts car roof off and had it sand blasted inside and outside. Epoxy primer was applied the same day. I did find some rust after the sand blasting. Rust was cut out and new metal welded in place. I took the car to a professional shop (fabricator) and he massaged the repaired roof back on the car I was keeping. I believe the V-8 motor is a 283 CI. When I tried to turn it over by hand I found it had valve train parts bent and broken. I pulled the heads off and stopped. Personally I would drop in a new motor /maybe a LS engine ? The automatic transmission is Turbo 350 3-speed, it was purchased 8/25/1999. The Blue and White interior had been replace by last owners. Looks okay but I would replace if being restored. Front brakes were upgraded to disc brakes, New Dual exhaust pipe w/ Flow Master mufflers Bowtie exhaust tips. The car has been sitting in my Garage. I did buy another '55 four door Wagon 210 model which I currently drive. I don't need 3 '55 Chevy wagons. The car is completely disassembled , waiting for the New Owner. No surprises, you can see what it needs . The new and used parts I have purchased include powder coated upper and lower "A" arms with new ball joints and bushings, Good used chrome rally wheels and tires, "A" pillar posts to replace the a bad sections on left and right lower A pillars and 2 floor panel sections . Fenders, Hood and the rest of the sheet metal are in good condition. The bumpers are straight and look good, the trim is in good condition, (includes parts car) stainless trim from parts car , 4-doors, front and rear bumper corner trim pieces. Lots of extra parts. The asking price I have listed is less than what I have invested. Serious buyers only. I have the registration in my name in NON-OP status Has California Historical Plates. I have the pink slip for the Parts car also... Not interested in selling any parts. Thanks for looking. Dave
